Mātauranga Maori

Te Tiaki Mahinga Kai is recording and synthesising te mātauranga Maori of several of the kaitiaki particpating in the project. A formal meta-analysis of mātauaranga concerning management of kai moana and kai awa will enable us to organise new material gathered for this project, as well as synthesise this data with material already recorded by other kaitiaki and researchers. It is funded mainly by FRST's Te Tipu o te Wānanga portfolio.
